Prophecy Notes, Volume 3
Let me say without stutter or stammer, “I love this country!” This nation is the greatest country there has ever been and will ever be. Its defense of freedom, help to the suffering, and promotion of human rights across the world has no equal. For 232 years, America has been God-blessed, abounding in our Lord’s provision and protection. But sadly, I believe this nation’s days are numbered. My belief is based on God’s prophetic Word, and the glaring fact that our country is not mentioned in the “last days”. To be sure, Israel is featured. Russia and Iran are spoken of. China is referred to and Western Europe is discussed, but the Scriptures are silent on America. Why? One can only reasonably conclude one of two things . . . America ceases to exist or America is so “insignificant” it is a non-factor in history’s final years. I believe the latter will be our fate.
Think with me how rapidly this nation is declining before our eyes. Politically, we have politicians, but no statesmen to lead us. Militarily, our brave men and women in uniform are few in number, greatly fatigued, and facing shortages in equipment. Financially, we are bankrupt . . . trillions in debt with a currency facing devaluation. Morally, we have embraced homosexuality as normal, abortion as a right, and pornography as art. Judicially, the law and common-sense have been replaced with activism and insanity. Educationally, social engineering has replaced reading, writing, and math. Religiously, every “Ism” known to man is promoted while Biblical Christianity is scorned. I could go on and on, but my point is clear . . . in an age of “GPS” to find places, America has lost its way.
I foresee this decline rapidly accelerating until the rapture occurs. With the rapture, America’s final collapse will occur. Again, think with me. With all our problems, America’s strength is still it’s remnant of Bible-believing, Christ-honoring Christians. This number of believers (estimated to be 75 million or so) spread the gospel, support Israel, and promote righteousness. For their sake, God has exercised great patience with this nation and withheld judgment. But when this “band of believers” is taken away, I believe the floodwaters of God’s wrath will overflow the dam of His mercy, and this nation will be swept away. There is no nation that can survive losing ¼ of its population . . . the brightest and righteous just vanishing . . . and America will not!
As America descends into chaos and anarchy after the rapture, Antichrist will be called upon to restore order. The price for his “intervention” will be America being absorbed into his New World Order and becoming part of his empire. America’s last years will be as a vassal state under the rule of Antichrist.
In closing, what can we do as patriotic Christians in these final days? First and foremost, we can pray! While I believe America’s day of reckoning is coming, I do also believe it can be delayed through God’s people’s prayers . . . “The effectual, fervent prayers of righteous people availeth much.” We can witness! We may not be able to save the sinking ship, but we can save the passengers . . . let’s pass out the life-vests of the gospel. We can vote! By placing godly people in office, we can assure a voice for righteousness will be heard in the Halls of Congress or the White House. We can speak out and stand up! With politeness, yet boldness; meekness, yet authority; we can resist the onslaught of deception and depravity in our schools and society. Lastly, we can live for Jesus! Just as light attracts bugs, Christ’s light of truth, love and righteousness can attract men to us. Our difference can make a difference eternally.
A last parting note: my personal thanks to all who have worn the uniform of this great nation. Your “sacrifices for freedom” are deeply appreciated and gratefully acknowledged. I’ve said, “A nation that forgets its heroes of yesterday will have no heroes tomorrow.” Whatever America’s future, may our military heroes long be remembered.
