Many years ago the great French general, Napoleon, stood over a map of the world. Placing his finger on China, he said, "Here lies a sleeping giant, let her sleep. If she ever awakens, she will shake the world." As the sand in the hour-glass of time rapidly flows to the end, China has awakened. According to the prophetic scriptures, China and her Eastern allies will indeed be "movers and shakers" in the last days. With a new spirit (demonic spirit) of aggressive, militant nationalism, China is already preparing for war. It is a war they believe they can win because of their technology, wealth, and manpower.
Think with me, China - through espionage and Western stupidity - has stolen or bought much of our technology. With this technology, they have a "thousand times over" upgraded their space program, satellite systems, military hardware, and nuclear arsenal. A once backward nation now rivals the United States in technological advancement and achievement. China also holds great wealth . . . part of it is U.S. Treasury notes totaling over one trillion dollars. Should the Chinese ever decide to "cash-in" these notes and demand payment, the American economy would belly-up and die. It is for this reason alone, the United States is passive and soft toward Chinese aggression towards Hong-Kong, Tibet, and Taiwan. Lastly, according to military analysis, China has an army of 3 million active soldiers with 16 million reservists. If pressed, China has stated it could build its army to 200 million men plus in a few years. All U.S. military experts are in agreement this statement is not fantasy but reality.
Can you imagine a nation with unlimited wealth, state-of-the-art military weaponry, and an army of 200 million men marching to war? According to the Bible, this is precisely what is going to happen! During the Tribulation period, this army from China will cross a supernaturally, dried-up Euphrates river and march in the the Middle East. Their purpose is two-fold: to seize the world's oil supplies and take control of the world. the armies of the WEst controlled by Antichrist will meet them in a battle of epic proportions. The carnage will be so great, the blood of the dead and dying will be like a flowing river for over 200 miles. This battle will close human history as we know it and usher the return of the Lord Jesus.
As we can see, everything is rapidly falling into place to bring us to this final battle: the wealth of China, the bankruptcy of America; the aggressiveness of Chinese leadership, the passiveness of U.S. Leaders; the military build-up of China, the military meltdowns of U.S. Forces; and the resolve of China to rule the world, the reluctance of America to be a "super-power". Because the U.S. and Europe are perceived to be "paper-tigers", China is going to become more expansive and aggressive. I foresee in the short, near future the following to reinforce China's perception:
1. China will ally with Pakistan and become antagonistic towards India. This alliance and these provocations could lead to a border-war between Pakistan/China and India. The West will protest but do little else.
2. China will bully and intimidate Taiwan, and will threaten war unless Taiwan surrenders. The West will file diplomatic protests and make small military moves, but will essentially abandon Taiwan to be a vassal state of China.
3. China will challenge the U.S. Navy for control of the Pacific. These challenges will be largely provocative posturing, but will again be met by United States indecisiveness.
All it takes for aggression to advance and succeed is for resistance to be rhetorical and weak. The rise of China and the decline of the United States is not accidental or coincidental - it is prophetic! The seeds of WWIII have been planted . . . soon this world will eat the bitter fruit.
