Adult Ministries
Miles Road offers a wide variety of ministries
for adults of every age. You will see here a sampling of some of
the many opportunities for you to connect with others and grow in
your walk with the Lord.
Here are just a few of our great adult ministries
-
Men's Ministries:
We have three opportunities for men to
connect with other men for prayer, accountability, and discipleship.
Please consider joining one of the following current men's groups:
Mondays - Sam Knight / Rod Knight
Tuesdays at 6:30 am - Keith Wilson
Thursdays at 7:00 pm - Norman Fortier
New Study Beginning in June for all three groups:

"Imagine a best-selling book whose author has no name. Consider the publisher's quandry: no high-profile author with his own media empire. No big-bucks marketing budget, no author tour, no magazine covers, no interviews, nothing. Nothing but a great book that people like---a book that changes lives---a book they tell their friends about. That is this book.
The Kneeling Christian welcomes novice and veteran Christians alike to answer God's invitation into the life of prayer. The disciples asked Jesus, 'Lord, teach us to pray;' so do we as well. The author understands and addresses our fears and concerns, encouraging us to embrace wholeheartedly the instructions of Jesus: 'If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer' (NLT). And with such encouragement, with such a warm welcome, can we resist?"-from the Preface
Veterans For Christ:

We count it an honor to have so many men and women
at MRBC that have faithfully served to protect the wonderful freedoms
that all of us enjoy. This ministry exists to offer support to those
that have served faithfully in the military. This group also takes
the opportunity to reach out and meet the needs of the families
of those who are currently serving abroad in the military. They
annually host our Veteran and Patriotic service and throughout the
year look for ways to promote support for our troops both here and
abroad.
Women's Ministries:
Someone once said, "If men are the head of
the home, then women are the heart of it". We have many opportunities
for women to grow, serve and lead here at MRBC. We have quarterly
"Heart to Heart" fellowships, a women's-only Sunday
school class, weekly Bible studies, and opportunities to attend
regional and national women's conferences, including Women of Faith.
Thursday Nights at 7:00 pm - Beth Moore Bible Study led by Sheryl Nichols
New Study Coming soon....!

Based on Isaiah 61, Beth's latest release includes 11 new video teaching messages taped at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans last November. This in-depth Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today's believers.
Reedited Bible study content with testimonies of how women like you have found freedom and have been delivered from their personal captivity will make this a study you can't miss.
Daily Bread Cooking Team:
Enjoy cooking? This is the ministry for you, Wednesday
night suppers and special events.
E-Team Visitation:
Everybody is Somebody at MRBC!
We work hard to stay in touch with and minister
to the needs of our church family. The Encouragement teams visit
hospitals, shut-ins, the sick or whoever else may need a pat on
the back or a hug around the neck. All of our E-teams seek to share
the love of Christ to those who often get lost in the shuffle. We
also have teams that go out weekly as fishers of men believing that
where Jesus Christ is lifted up all men will be drawn to Him.
Kingdom Riders:
Kingdom Riders motorcyle ministry at Miles
Road Baptist Church.
We are a Christian Motorcycle ministry whose mission
is to reach lost souls of the local biker community and provide
fellowship for its members. We believe that Jesus Christ is our
Lord and Saviour and that the Bible is the inspired word of God.
We are committed to following the Bible's principles and instructions
and to sharing our Saviour with the biker community. So "In
his name" we ride!!
We provide various opportunities throughout the
year for fellowship and evangelistic outreach. Contact the church office at (843) 873-7887
for more information.
