Children's Ministry
The children's ministry at MRBC is top notch.
We take great pride, care and concern in developing, implementing
and maintaining programs that are first class and effective in training
our children to become rich in the knowledge of God, fervent in
their pursuit, and effective in their service to Him.
Sunday School:
| We here at Miles Road believe
in instilling the Word of God in our children's hearts, and
we believe that one way is by attending Sunday School. We have
a great Sunday School Program. Our teachers are loving and caring
people who not only teach Christ's love but show it also. Only
Bible based material is taught. Classes are from 8:30am to 10:15am
for children two years old through fifth grade. Classrooms are
located in the A and B Buildings. |

Children's Church:
|
Children's church is provided
for children ages three years to 1st grade. They are taught
the Bible; they sing songs, and are trained in church procedures
and etiquette. This is all done at their level. Children's
church also includes, flannel-graph teaching, and crafts and
games. Each child receives well-rounded training in Christian
development at the same time the adults are taking part in
the adult worship services.
"Train up a child in the way he should go and
when he is old, He will not depart from it." Proverbs
22:6
Kid's church is for children 2nd - 5th grade.
Kid's church has a format to follow just like big church.
They have announcements, prayer requests, music time, and
the lesson. The children also participate by taking up the
offering, reading the Bible verse, and having a Bible drill.
A "Special Project" is done the first Sunday of
each month; this may include writing notes to church members,
working with Children's Church, special crafts or other projects
for the church. Lessons come from Carismal Life, The Next
Generation, starting with the study of men and women of the
Bible. |
Sunday Night Power Hour:
On Sunday nights,
we love to have a good time learning about God's Word. We strive
to teach our children how to apply the lessons that they learn
into their daily lives and to show them how much God loves us.
Children ages four and five, come join us at 6:00pm. |

Vacation Bible School:
VBS is such a great time at Miles Road. It's four
nights of songs,crafts, games, skits and lots o fun. With over 400
nightly each and a special Friday night service for the whole family
makes for an exciting week.
