Our Purpose:
Our Center is committed to Christian counseling.
We believe God calls people to acknowledge their problems and utilize
biblical solutions to solve them, so their lives glorify God as
they experience authentic change.
We also believe God's infallible Word is the absolute,
all-suffient standard for dealing with each situation we encounter
in life. Whenever possible, we work with Christian physicains on
counseling issues related to physical health and well-being.
The Christian counselor must compassionately listen,
understand, and give scripturally sound hope for the problems people
face. Our goal is to help the counselee practically apply pertinent
biblical principles to his/her situation.
Superficial solutions are not lasting ones. Solutions
cannot be reached without dissection of the problem, study, effort,
accountability, and prayer on the part of all parties involved.
Our relationship to the local church is a vital
element of our Counseling Center's goals. We are committed to the
authority of the Christian church and its work. We encourage counselees
to affiliate with a local church, where they can continue to recieve
the love and support they need.
Additionally, we provide support ministries to
churches through workshops, seminars, training, and consultation.
